Which Problems are being solved

The Network of EO Platforms initiative which was kicked off in late 2017 has an objective of an increased integration of EO data and information for a much broader use by bringing the users to the data, for scientific, social and economic purposes, as well as for the generation of new commercial applications and services.

NoR provides a unique environment for both commercial and non-commercial users to discover via the NoR Portfolio a list European cloud services and estimates of the associated costs to make full use of Earth Observation data.

In the month of November 2023 Starion Italia Spa (formerly named RHEA System Spa) has been awarded the contract as the prime contractor for the Network of Resources (NoR) project.
